Gardening with Happy

I think one of the greatest gardening payoffs for Craig is spending time with our granddaughters while they work together.

 This sequence reminds me of a birth: we told Piper that when the broccoli was ready we'd save it for her visit and she could pick it for our dinner. This is the first harvest of 2013. I love the expressions on her face!

 Planting dahlias. 

 Piper loves to get her hands dirty... just like her mother did.

We may have eaten a healthy dinner, but a hearty game of "chubby bunny" was on tap for dessert.
